Here is a short bio:

“Mrs. Harrison is originally from Granbury, Texas, a small town about 45 minutes south of Fort Worth. After graduating high school, she attended college and played soccer for Ranger College in Ranger, Texas. After receiving her associates degree, she followed her fiancé, to Surprise, Arizona where she played for Ottawa University Arizona for two seasons and coached a 2013 girls academy team for Christ’s Church of the Valley. After getting married in July 2020, she and her husband made the decision to move back to Texas to be close to their families. As of Dec 2020 Shanda is playing on the women’s soccer team at Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Oklahoma, and will be finishing her degree in Kinesiology while playing her final season of collegiate soccer in the spring of 2021.

Shanda says; “I have always loved Futbol to the point of obsession. Futsal specifically brings me a joy that nothing else does. My goal as the Director of the AFL Women’s Pro League is to give other young women like myself the chance to play futsal at the highest level. I want young girls to dream about becoming a professional futsal player one day, just as they do with soccer today. I believe that with my determination, and the help of others, this will be more than just successful. I am so pleased to be building something that is bigger than myself.”
